Co-Managing Director

Patricia Anne Greco
 

 

Patty is a co-owner of the firm.  Before joining Howe-Lewis, Patty was with Korn/Ferry International in the firm’s healthcare practice.  She brings to Howe-Lewis over twenty years of executive search experience.

Patty spent more than five years in the search practice of Peat Marwick Mitchell, and managed the Short Hills, New Jersey practice.  In addition to leading searches for clients, she recruited extensively for the firm’s rapidly expanding consulting group, which included positions from entry-level professionals to partners in a wide variety of disciplines.  During this time, she led the firm’s national healthcare recruiting program.

Patty’s earlier experience includes four years as a partner in a highly successful service business and nearly three years of additional research and recruiting experience, beginning with Nordemann Grimm.

Patty is a graduate of Fairfield University with a BA degree in English.  She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and Women in Development New York.

Esther Rosenberg
 

 

Esther is a co-owner of the firm.  She joined HLI in 1992. She has conducted searches for local, national and global health, education, human services, advocacy, cultural and community-based organizations.

Her earlier experience includes five years in executive search at Korn/Ferry as well as significant roles in not-for-profit management with the Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, where she managed five regional offices nationwide; the Metropolitan Opera, where she worked on the Centennial Campaign; and Case Western Reserve University, as a grant proposal writer and project administrator.  While there, she directed a National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Institute on Gerontology.

Originally from Cleveland, Ohio, Esther attended the American University of Paris and received both a BA and an MA in French from Case Western Reserve University.

She is active with a number of nonprofit organizations, including Women in Development New York and the Network of Nonprofit Search Consultants.

Vice President, Client Services

Kirk McDonald
 

 

Kirk is Vice President, Client Services for Howe-Lewis.  He staffs client search committees, conducts research and is the firm’s resident proposal and job specification writer.  He brings a broad range of experience from the not-for-profit community and service industries.

Prior to joining the firm in 1996, Kirk was Membership Services Coordinator with the New York Convention and Visitors Bureau.  He also spent five years with the New York State Hospitality & Tourism Association, a statewide trade association representing lodging and attractions, located in Albany, NY.  Kirk started his career with Leucadia National Corporation, a diversified financial services holding company, and the Guttmacher Institute, a not-for-profit organization that advances sexual and reproductive health through research, policy analysis and public education.

Kirk is an alumnus of Bernard M. Baruch College and is a member of the Human Rights Campaign and Out Professionals.
